Make Matcha Part of Your Daily Routine

Matcha lattes have been popular for years in coffee shops and cafes. You have probably ordered one from time to time. It is also likely you have heard of matcha's well documented health benefits including:

  • Longer steadier energy boost than coffee. Matcha contains a compound called L-theanine, which allows our bodies to more slowly absorb the natural caffeine in Matcha and results in a sustained 3 to 6 hour period of energy without the crash or jitters that may come with other caffeinated drinks.
  • High in anitoxidants, even more so than non-powdered green tea. Including matcha in your diet increases your antioxidant intake, which may help prevent cell damage and can help lower inflammation and reduce your risk of some chronic health conditions such as heart disease and diabetes. The specific type of antioxidant catechins found in green tea can be beneficial in the prevention of lung cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer and prostate cancer1

So it's no suprise that many people are making room for Matcha in their daily wellness routine. This can get pretty spendy if you are ordering it daily from a coffee shop!

We present you with this Matcha Latte recipe using our Ceremonial Matcha that costs roughly $4 less than a coffee shop version and made with a higher quality Matcha than most coffee shops use.
